Traffic Methods

This is the backbone of any campaign. If you have a very strong campaign and no one is seeing your offer, how are you going to make any income from your business?

In this topic, I will cover what is Digital Traffic, The Types of Traffic and why it is  essential to any campaign

What is digital traffic and what are the different types of digital traffic?

What is digital traffic? - Digital traffic is when someone visits your website or social media page without you having to pay for their visit or click. It’s also called free traffic and organic traffic, it can be generated using social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn or through search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing.

Digital Traffic vs. Organic Traffic
There are two main types of traffic: organic and digital. Organic traffic comes from search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing. This type of traffic is free, but it can take a while to build up. Digital traffic, on the other hand, comes from sources like paid ads, social media, and email marketing. This type of traffic is usually much more expensive than organic traffic, but it can also be a lot more effective. Affiliate marketing is one example of this. When someone clicks on an affiliate link to buy something, the person who shared that link will get a percentage of that sale as a commission - this means you'll make money without having to spend any money yourself! It's worth noting that not all affiliate programs work in the same way; some will require you to have your own website or blog before they'll pay you anything.

Pay Per Click (PPC) Traffic
PPC is a type of online advertising where you pay a fee each time someone clicks on your ad. The most common form of PPC is Google AdWords, which allows you to place ads on Google’s search engine results pages (SERPs). Other popular PPC platforms include Bing Ads and Facebook Ads. However, with these latter two platforms, you only get charged when someone completes an action like filling out a lead form or buying your product. With Google Adwords, you also get charged if they just scroll past your ad or click it even if they don't buy anything.

Social Media Ads
Affiliate marketing is a type of performance-based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the affiliate's own marketing efforts. Paid search, display ads, email marketing, and organic social media are all examples of ways to generate traffic. Click-through rate (CTR) is a metric used to measure the success of online advertising campaigns. Traffic is important because it represents potential customers who may be interested in your product or service. You want as many people as possible to visit your website so that you can sell something. However, if the visitors do not convert into customers you will have wasted money on a campaign that had no results. There are two types of cost per click (CPC). One is where the advertiser pays when someone clicks their ad and they land on their site. The other type of CPC has them paying when someone clicks an ad but does not go to their site.

Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
SEM is a form of online marketing that promotes websites by increasing their visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs). The higher a website's rank on SERP, the more likely it is to be clicked on by users. SEM can be achieved through paid advertising, such as pay-per-click (PPC) ads, or through organic means, such as optimizing a website for relevant keywords. Traffic is important because it is a measure of how many people are visiting a website. Sites with high levels of traffic are attractive to advertisers. Traffic is measured using the click-through rate, which measures how often a person who clicks on an ad will also visit the advertiser's site. There are three main sources of cheap traffic: Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Affiliate Marketing, and Organic Search Results Page (SERP).

SEO / Inbound Link Building
Digital traffic refers to the number of visitors coming to your website from all digital channels, including organic search, paid search, social media, direct links, and referrals. The main types of digital traffic are organic and paid.

Traffic is important because it helps you reach more people who might be interested in your product or service. There are many ways to generate traffic for a site. Affiliate marketing is one such way where companies earn commission by recommending other companies' products online. Companies can also set up PPC campaigns with popular networks like Google Adwords and Facebook Ads which guarantees targeted views but at a higher cost per click.
